Speegle Construction, Inc. Wins Safety Awards

    Speegle Construction Inc. is proud to announce that they have received two prestigious Safety Awards from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District:

    Medium-Sized Safe Project of the Year, and
    Safe Contractor of the Year

    The Medium-Sized Safe Project of the Year award was earned by Speegle for its work on the project entitled, Replace Hangar 30106 at Ft Rucker, Alabama. This project has amassed over 29,300 man-hours without any accidents or lost hours. The project was in competition with 34 other projects in the medium-size category and was selected as the safe project of the year for Medium Size projects which are projects valued between One and Seven Million Dollars ($1,000,000 to $7,000,000).

    Safe Contractor of the Year is given to recognize the contractor who has achieved the highest standard of safety within the Mobile District. USACE Mobile performed over a Billion dollars in construction and contracted with hundreds of contractors during FY 2010. It was indeed an honor for Speegle to be selected from such a large pool as the Safe Contractor of the Year. Speegle Construction Inc., has made a commitment to maintain a safe workplace and we are extremely gratified that the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers chose to recognize the exceptional efforts of our employees during the FY-10 year.
